Focus and Scope

The aim of Euclid, p-ISSN 2355-1712 and e-ISSN 2541-4453, is to provide a national forum for sharing, dissemination and discussion of research, experience and perspectives across a wide range of pure and applied mathematics, education, teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies, and new technologies in mathematics education. The Journal invites original articles and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The whole spectrum of research in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education are welcome, which includes, but not limited to the following topics: Mathematics Learning Model, Assesment and Evaluation in Mathematics Teaching, Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Ability, ICT in Mathematics Education, Ethnomathematics. Applied Mathematics: Environmental Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics. Pure Mathematics: Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics/ Combinatorics.

Papers published in the six-monthly journal (January and July):
(1) report evaluation and research findings;
(2) treat conceptual and methodological issues; and/or
(3) consider the implications of the above for action; and/or
(4) an extensive book reviews section and also occasional reports on educational materials and equipment.

Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (double-blind review). Reviewers will consider the feasibility of the articles viewed from the suitability of title, abstract, introduction, discussion and conclusion. The reviewer will also see the originality and reference quality of each article to be published. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 30 to 60 days. Plagiarism detection of articles in this journal is carried out by using plagiarismcheckerx.com (Web Checker) and Mendeley as a Tool Reference Manager.

Jadwal penerbitan 2 kali setahun yaitu bulan Januari dan Juli.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Publication Ethics

The article published in Euclid is an important part in the development of coherent knowledge in the field of mathematics education and this is a direct reflection of the quality of authors and institutions. It is therefore important to agree on the publication ethics expected for all parties involved in the act of publication: authors, journal editors, reviewers, publishers and the public. Euclid is committed to ensuring that all procedures are objective and intellectual. Furthermore, editors and reviewers evaluate the manuscript regardless of race, sex, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality, or certain political and group interests. The software is used to avoid plagiarism among articles.

Here are the tasks of authors, reviewers, section editors and editor editors.

Author's Task:

Articles submitted by the author is the result of thought and research that is original, honest, free from plagiarism and data manipulation.
The submitted article has not been published and / or is in the process of submitting to another journal.
The quotations contained in the manuscript must be accompanied by a clear quotation source and included in the reference.
Any personnel (students or supervisors) included in the research scheme must be included as a writer.
Reviewing Tasks:
The reviewer is responsible for recommending the feasibility of the submitted manuscript publication.
Reviewers are entitled to give criticism and suggestions aimed at improving the quality of submitted manuscripts.
Can refuse to review any submissions because there is a conflict of interest or insufficient knowledge.
Review all submissions objectively, fair and professional.
Reveal the ethical faults encountered while reviewing the Chief Editor for further action.
Must ensure the authenticity of submission and be alert to plagiarism and excessive publicity.
Adhere to the time allotted for review process.
Renewal requests for review submission are at the editor's disposal.
Editor's Tasks Section:

Actively contribute to the development and goodness of the journal.
Acting as an ambassador of the journal.
Keep supporting and promoting journals.
Carry out the tasks assigned by the chief editor.
Review the job assigned to it.
Editor's Chief Duties:

The editor is responsible for determining which articles will be included in the review process.
Evaluate articles fairly and intellectually.
Ensure the confidentiality of the manuscript and not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone other than those involved in the publishing process.
Have the responsibility to decide when and which articles will be published through editor board meetings.
Actively seek out the views of board members, reviewers and authors on how to improve / improve the image and visibility of journals.
Provide clear instructions to potential contributors about the submission process and what is expected of the author.
Make sure the right reviewer is selected for the reviewer process.


Plagiarism Checker

Each of the first published texts is a plagiarism checking process with Plagiarism Checker X Level 3 software. The text will be processed when plagiarism scans show results below 15%.


Reference Management

Articles submitted to Euclid are suggested using reference management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero or EndNote.


Article Submission And Processing Charges

We do not charge authors any fee for submitting, processing and publishing articles. Readers can read and download any full-text articles for free of charge. However, for authors who want to have print-out of the journal are charged for printing and shipment fee.  The authors must pay IDR 300.000 for 2 exemplars. Shipment fee complies the location (http://www.jne.co.id/tarif.php)


Withdrawal Of Manuscripts

The author is not allowed to cancel or draw the manuscript of the article, because the cancellation of the text impacts on wasted effort and valuable time that has been devoted by editors and reviewers, as well as funds that have been invested by the manager.

If the author still wishes to request the cancellation / withdrawal of the article when the article is in peer-review process, the writer is subject to a penalty penalty of Rp 1,000,000.00 (one million rupiah) per manuscript, as compensation to the manager of the journal. However, revocation / withdrawal of submitted articles is not an ethical thing to do. As for the cancellation / withdrawal of the article caused by the author's article received on a journal, the writer is subject to a penalty penalty of Rp 3,000,000.00 (three million rupiah) per manuscript. Cancellation / withdrawal of articles can only be made after a fine is paid to the manager of the journal. If the author does not agree to pay a fine, the authors and affiliates will be prohibited from publishing articles in this journal.
